An Amazon tractor trailer carrying 8,000 kilos of merchandise caught fireplace on Interstate 15, the California Freeway Patrol mentioned Saturday.
The trailer caught fireplace at 7:22 p.m. Friday within the center lanes of northbound I-15, south of Deer Springs Street, the CHP mentioned. CHP officers, fireplace and paramedic personnel responded to the scene, CHP Officer Hunter Gerber mentioned.
No accidents had been reported.
It was not instantly recognized whether or not any packages had been broken or destroyed.
Three lanes of northbound I-15 had been shut down till 10:30 p.m., when the scene was cleared.
The reason for the fireplace was below investigation.
